The article rightly points out that most Italians simply aren’t aware of the direction their country’s going in because of his death grip on the media. Ironically Berlusconi got his start in politics with the huge clean-up of political corruption in the early 90s, ‘mani pulite’ (cleans hands)…

One thing the article didn’t really address was how to go about reform. To me, it makes sense to put the big left in charge, but maybe political change like that is a pipe-dream. Dom, have you thought at all about what Italy could do to instate regime change?
